Recommendations For Improving Lighting on The Rear of a Travel Trailer

Question:

Hi. I would like to have a strobe brake light bulb for TRAVEL TRAILER. Can I just change bulb? OR would that blow fuse or cause a problem? What suggest for added rear ending caution? Thanks

My best recommendation would be to upgrade from the more basic halogen lights that come on most travel trailers to a LED Taillight. The LED Combination Trailer Tail Light # STL57RB and # STL56RB will offer you a much brighter light. They are also submersible so you don't have to worry about water getting inside and fogging the lens.

You can also look at replacing all your marker lights with brighter LED lights as well. The Optronics LED Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light # MCL49RB would improve your other lights. These have 14 LED's inside each lens that are also sealed from the elements and you also won't ever have to deal with a missing cover on these lights either.
