2021 Jayco 248RBSW RME BAJA Solera Slide Topper Kits
Question:
I’m interested in putting a Solera slide topper on my 2021 Jayco 248RBSW RME BAJA. I noticed the slide brackets are mounted below the T-Molding. Is there enough support in the wall to keep the screws from pulling out? Also, how do you find the correct place for the awning rail so it has enough support in the wall? Thanks

For your 2021 Jayco 248RBSW RME Baja the screws that come with the Solera slide topper kits are rated specifically for mounting the brackets just below the T-Molding. I recommend using Butyl tape product # CAM25013 as well to seal your screw holes and prevent any water damage. I recommend product # LCV000163289 for a white topper and product # LCV000168107 if you'd prefer black.
