How To Determine Which 5 lug Hubs Fit Older Trailer Axles

Have a old two axele house trailer frame Im making a trailer out of it has the old hubs on it that have just the four bolt in hubs like California hubs it does have electric brakesI want to change to the regular five lug hubs, what measurements do you need so get the right ones

To determine the correct replacement hubs for your older axles you will need to determine which inner and outer bearings the spindles use.

The easiest way to do this is to remove one of the hubs and look for the bearing number stamped in the face of each bearing as shown in the included picture of the # L44649.

If your bearings are worn to the point that you cannot read the bearing numbers you will need to use digital calipers like # PTW80157 to precisely measure your spindle according to the included diagram.

If you can tell me the bearing combination your trailer uses I would be happy to confirm the correct 5 lug hub for you.
