Axle-Less Option to Replace Lippert 5,000 lb Axle
Question:
I have an axle on my travel trailer that is listed as a Lippert 5,000 lbs and I am looking to replace with a straight axle. Looking for replacement Timbren axle-less

Expert Reply:
We do have an option with the Timbren Axle-Less system to replace your Lippert 5,000 lb axle, and going with this system is a smart choice because they offer you an improved ride compared to a traditional through-axle.
The reason for that is because the Timbrens work independently and have progressive springs that absorb shock better than a traditional axle. I do recommend getting a system with lift to improve the overall ride height, and I'll also add the hub and drum you need with this system:
- 4" Lift: Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System # TASR5200S03
- Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-201-5UC3-EZ
