Does the Bestop Tigertop for the Jeep CJ-5 Come with New Striker Latches
Question:
I have a 1974 jeep Cj5 with the original top, with this replacement top will i need to mount a new striker lach for the door to close? The top i have now has a rod that runs up and down inside a sleeve in the top and the handle on the door turns and laches onto it. Does your top work this way?

I spoke to my contact at Bestop and he informed me that when you install the Bestop Tigertop for CJ-5 # B5140501 you will install a new striker latch. He said this kit comes with the new latches, and that the doors will latch differently.
