Which Trailer Hitch Receiver And 2-Bike Carrier Should I Use On My 2013 Lexus RX 350?
Question:
I have a 2013 Lexus RX350 F Sport. I’m looking for a hitch and bike carrier. I have no plans to tow anything, just want the hitch for the bike carrier. We need a a compact, easy to store carrier to handle two bikes. What are your recommendations for a hitch and bike carrier? Thanks!

The correct trailer hitch receiver for your 2013 Lexus RX350 F Sport is Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13143. It has a max tongue weight rating of 600lbs which you never want to exceed; this will work well with any bike rack with a 2" shank. This receiver has a fairly simple installation process requiring no drilling or welding. I attached an installation video showing this receiver being installed on a 2013 RX350 non sport which has an almost identical process but may differ slightly. All necessary hardware and instructions are included.
Based on what you said, it sounds like the best bike rack for you would be the Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HLY94FR. This is a very lightweight bike rack weighing only 20lbs, making it easy to use and setup with one person. It can be folded up whenever it is on or off the vehicle, allowing you to save space in the garage or parking spot. It is very versatile and can be used with many different types of bikes; it secures the bike by the frame and not the wheels, making it compatible with bikes that have fenders or baskets. I attached a video for this bike rack which demonstrates how to use it and explains its many features in detail.
