We can get your 2018 Nissan Titan XD with a 6-1/2 foot bed set up to tow a 5th wheel trailer, and for your truck, there is just one option that will allow you to do that, from B&W:
- B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider # BWRVK3400-5W
- Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1217-5W
Just because it's the only option for your truck doesn't make it a bad choice; in fact it's the exact opposite. The Companion is considered by many to be the highest-quality fifth wheel hitch in the industry. As evidence of this you can see that this hitch has been reviewed more than 1,000 times by our customers (as of this writing), and they have given it a nearly unanimous 5-star rating.
The reason why it's so good is that the jaws on the Companion are a full 1 inch thick so they stick to your trailer's king pin like an adhesive and minimizes movement which leads to a much more comfortable, much quieter towing experience. The only other thing you would need is a 5th wheel harness, the Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector # PK11893-11932.
I have added some links below to video reviews for you to check out as well if you'd like to take a look.
