How To Install a Trailer Brake Controller On a 2014 Chevy Suburban
Question:
I have a 2014 Chevy suburban that apparently is different that what you talk about when trying to install a brake controller. I have a pic, but not sure how to share it. I got the wiring harness cover off different that what is shown in all the videos, in the connector box, on the left side is a large orange connector, below that an empty slot with 1 pin, below that an empty slot with 6 pins, and at the bottom a square slot with 3 pins. need help in figuring out how to install the brake controller. I assume one of the empty slots is for that, but then id need a wiring harness, so not sure which one. Is there a way to send a picture?

In regards to installing a brake controller on a 2014 Chevrolet Suburban like the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195, there will be four blunt cut wires under the dash which you will simply connect to the four blunt cut wires on the included harness. If you don't have power to the controller right away you will need to connect a wire under the hood.
I have attached for you below a help article which goes over this a bit more in detail as well.
