Can I Use the Swagman E-Spec on Bikes with Aggressive Step-Through Frames
Question:
I am looking at the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2 Hitches - Frame Mount. We have two step through e-bikes. Since the padded hooks can only be set at different levels one above the other it appears that there would be a problem getting the second hook in place on the frame of the bike?

Most bikes with aggressive step through frames are going to require a bike frame adapter bar like the Swagman # 64005 when used with a frame mounting bike rack like the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR. This isn't an uncommon problem we run into, but it's a really easy solution that allows the hooks to make solid contact with the bikes and keep them in place on the rack. The Swagman E-Spec is a great rack choice for your e-bikes, but you'll likely need a frame adapter bar for both bikes to allow you to secure the bikes.
