5th Wheel Bracket Kit Recommendation for a 2011 Chevy 3500 8 Bed with a Reese 16K Hitch

Question:

I have a 16k reese 5th wheel hitch that I want to install on my 2011 3500 Chevy dually. It has a boxed frame. I have the rails, hitch and bolts . I do not have any instructions. It has a 8bed. How do I go about this and is there any additional kit that I would need for this truck?

Since you said you have the rails, bolts and hitch it sounds like the only component you are missing at this point would be the installation kit. For that I would recommend you get a Reese Quick-Install Bracket Kit # RP50066.

The # RP50066 comes with everything you will need to attach the fifth wheel rails you have to the frame of your 2011 Chevy 3500 Silverado. I attached installation instructions for this product for you to check out as well as a video of this product being installed in a 2011 Chevy 3500 Silverado just like yours.

It sounds like you have them already, but in case you are missing some of the bolts to hold the rails to the frame brackets you may also be interested in purchasing a Replacement Hardware Kit # RP58430 as well.
