Recommendations for a Tongue Jack on a Multi-Sport Trailer
Question:
Hi, Im looking for a single or dual wheel jack for my right on multi sport trailer for our kayaks. I see some comments that have deterred me from picking it out myself, i.e. not being able to go low enough, etc. Can you recommend something that will be near salt water in the under $100 range? Id like to be able to remove the stand and add this so we can move the trailer with ease and lower and remove the trailer from our hitch. We have a 2019 crosstrek with a curt hitch for your FYI on height.

We have a popular jack that is used for a very similar situation that you have. The Pro Series Snap-Ring Swivel Marine Jack # PSEJ10000101 is a great option for a few reasons. This jack is designed for marine application and will bolt to the frame of many different trailers. This jack will work just fine to get low enough to connect to a hitch and it will swivel to the side and lock into place when you are not using it.
