How Can I Use A 1-1/4" Bike Rack On My 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver?
Question:
Hi there. I have the original nv rack 1.25. I recently have gotten a truck and it has a 2” hitch. What would be my best option of a adapter I could get that would mimic the kuat adapter for the newer kuat models?

In order to convert your new truck's 2" hitch receiver to a 1-1/4" you will want to use Hitch Reducer 2" to 1-1/4" Trailer Hitch Receiver # HT02. This adapter sleeve will NOT reduce the towing capacity of your hitch, whereas most hitch adapters do reduce the towing capacity. This is rated for 300lbs tongue weight which will be plenty for your Kuat NV bike rack. I have attached a helpful demonstration video for you to check out.
