Recommended Trailer Wiring For 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Without Factory Tow Package
Question:
I have a 2015 cherokee latitude with no factory tow package. Some people say that the wiring harness is still installed and some say not. I am not sure what wiring harness to buy. Is my jeep wired for trailer hookup? Thanks

Since your 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude does not have the factory towing package you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118605 which will add a 4-way connector, and will be a plug and play installation.
If you are needing a 7-way connector I recommend the # ETBC7L which will plug in to your newly installed 4-way connector and just require you to run the black wire to the vehicle battery with the included 40-amp circuit breaker, and ground the white wire to the frame of your vehicle.
For a trailer brake controller I recommend the Curt Echo Wireless # C51180 which will plug directly into your 7-way connector meaning you will not need to run any wires inside of the passenger compartment of your Jeep, and will not need to drill any holes to mount the controller.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
