Weight Distribution Shanks Compatibility 2" to 2 1/2" Reciever
Question:
a question about WDH shanks: do I need a 2 1/2 inch shank from my hitchs mfg to replace my 2 inch shank or can I use one from another mfg? thanks

While the weight distribution shanks do tend to work with different manufacturers, I recommend staying with the same manufacturer to help protect any warranties. Also please make sure that the shank that you get is compatible with the same weight that your weight distribution hitch is rated for.
