To use the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # C17500 with a 2-1/2" trailer hitch receiver I recommend the Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches # C17131.
Now before you purchase the # C17500 I recommend confirming that the total tongue weight of your setup is between 800-1000lbs. Total tongue weight is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to tow trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your tow vehicle. The easiest way to get an accurate tongue weight measurement is with a tongue weight scale like the # e99044, but there are other methods which are outlined in the help article I linked.
If you find that your total tongue weight is over 1000lbs I recommend the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 15,000 lbs GTW, 1,500 lbs TW # C17501 which works with total tongue weights between 1000-1500lbs. You will still need the # C17131 to use this system in your 2-1/2" receiver.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
