Best Bike Rack for a 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback

Whats the ideal and perfect fitting bike rack that holds 2 bikes in place for a honda civic sport hatchback 2018....it seems very hard to find an application for this car

The ideal bike rack situation for a 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback is to have a hitch and hitch-mounted bike rack. However, if you would rather not go that route, we do have a trunk-mounted bike rack that fits.

It's the Saris Bones EX, part # SA803. This hanging-style bike rack can hold 3 bikes up to 35 pounds each (not exceeding a total of 70 pounds), and it's equipped with anti-sway cradles to keep the bikes steady. The arms can be adjusted individually to prevent handle-bar tangles. I've linked to a video review of this rack for you to look at.

If you do decide to go the hitch route, I recommend the Curt Class I Hitch, part # C11463. It gives you a 1-1/4" receiver and has a tongue weight capacity of 200 pounds with a maximum towing capacity of 2000 pounds. I've linked to a video installation for your reference.

With the hitch, you can then use the Swagman Chinook, part # S64683. It's a platform-style rack that can carry 2 bikes up to 45 pounds each. It has the fold-up and tilt-away features. I've linked to a video review of this rack as well.
