Hydraulic Disc Brake and Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator for 2017 Grand Design Reflection 28BH
Question:
Hello, I am planning a disk brake conversion for my 2017 Grand Design Reflection 28BH Fifth Wheel. I have 5200lbs Lippert Axles #120064. My tow vehicle is a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD with integrated brake controller. I have identified the following parts: - Kodiak Disc Brake Kit - 12 Hub/Rotor - 6 on 5-1/2 - Dacromet - 5,200 lbs to 6,000 lbs - K2HR526D - Qty 2 - Bearing Kit, 15123/25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal - BK3-100 - Qty 4 - HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Kit for Disc Brakes - 1,600 psi - HBA16-252-82 - Qty 1 - HydraStar Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator Adapter Module for Ford and Chevy Brake Controllers - HBA-CAM - Qty 1 Can you confirm I have identified all the correct parts I will need? Thank you. Jack

It looks like you're on the right track. Assuming that your existing hubs use the 15123 outer/25580 inner bearings and the 10-36 seal, the Kodiak # K2HR526D disc brake kit and the # BK3-100 bearing kit will work great. Keep in mind that the # K2HR526D already includes the races which are preinstalled, but there's nothing wrong with having a few extra parts on hand. It's typically less expensive to get the bearing kit than purchasing the parts individually anyway.
The # HBA16-252-82 Actuator kit with brake lines would be compatible with the OE brake controller on your truck with the addition of the # HBA-CAM adapter. The HydraStar is one of our install team's favorites, because of how well it works.
I've linked to some install videos that you might find helpful.
