Galvanized 8x7 Inch, 4 Bolt Wheel and 215/60-8 Load Range D Trailer Tire
Question:
Can I upgrade this 18.5 x8.5 x8.00, galvanized - 4 lug to a load range D or E tire and if so @what price?

Expert Reply:
You can get a load range D tire, 215/60-8, it is # AM1HP28. You will just need to get a wheel separately if needed, # AM20023, for a galvanized 4 bolt. A load range E is not available in this size. The D range is rated for 1,165 pounds at 70 psi.
The manufacturer where we get our tires and wheels does not send this combination to us already mounted and we cannot do it in our warehouse. However, any local tire shop can mount the tire for you for a nominal fee.
