What Hitch Balls Can Be Used With Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount
Question:
Dear to whom this concerns, I was looking at the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount, which is item# C45901. I was wondering that if I purchase this item, if I could buy an extra ball mount for it, Not the channel part that fits into the receiver, but the ball mount that slide up and down in the channel. Just in case I ran into a trailer that takes a different size ball than the one I currently use on frequent occasions. Thank you for your time.

While there isn't an additional ball mount for the channel, you wouldn't need one because you can use any size hitch ball with the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount # C45901.
This ball mount fits a hitch ball with a 1" diameter shank, and there are options for a 1-7/8", 2", and 2-5/16" hitch ball that will fit; you can use any of the following hitch balls:
- 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # C40002
- 2" Hitch Ball # 63845
- 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # 63853
These will all fit securely in the ball mount so an additional one won't be needed. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well of the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ball Mount # C45901.
