Can Reese Friction Sway Control Kit Be Used On Trailer With Aluminum Frame?
Question:
I have a 14 foot enclosed aluminum trailer 1800lb curb weight. I feel the trailer on the highway pushing around and thinking about a Reese friction sway bar. Would this be ok to mount on my aluminum frame tongue?

My contact at Reese mentioned that the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660 you were looking at can be installed on a trailer with an aluminum frame, but only if the trailer manufacturer is OK with the installation due to it requiring you to drill holes in the frame of your trailer.
You will also need to add the Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts # RP26003 to your ball mount to use the # 83660.
I included a videos for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
