Parts Needed to Install a P2 Trailer Brake Controller on a 2012 Ford F-250 with Factory Controller
Question:
I use on my toy hauler the Sensa Brake Air/Hydraulic actuator for my disc brake. It is working perfectly on my old Dodge when using the Prodigy P2. Not so many controller work with SensaBrake system and I am pretty sure Ford factory installed will not too. That way I want to put prodigy P2 on my new truck and disable factory one. If I understand rightly I need purchase this harness to make P2 work on my 2012 Ford F250 , right ? Thank you very much

You are correct about the factory brake controller on a 2012 Ford F-250. It will not work with electric over hydraulic trailer braking systems. You will need to use the # 3034-P harness with the P2 # 90885. I have included a link to the installation details for you.
Also, by disconnecting the factory controller it will send a fault code to the dash. To have the fault removed I have included a link to an FAQ that explains what you will need to do.
