Options for Vehicle Wiring Harness 7-Way and 4-Pole Flat Connectors 2005 Suburban
Question:
Regarding item C55774 It says its plug and play for 2005 Suburban but it has round plug, not rectangular, where it connects to vehicle factory harness. Is the picture not accurate? My current set up keeps blowing fuses so I just need to replace the final 7 blade plug with factory harness end.

You are correct that the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way and 4-Pole Flat # C55774 is identified as being a confirmed fit for your 2005 Chevrolet Suburban. I have attached the Curt Installation Details pdf for # C55774.
Another option that is a confirmed fit for your 2005 Chevy Suburban is the Hopkins Replacement Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors # 30955. Each have a high customer review rating, I suggest selecting the most cost effective as both are very good products. We do not have custom fit harnesses displaying a square shaped connector. I have attached installation videos of this product on 2005 Chevy Silverado that has same factory wiring harness, please review to asses if your vehicles current wiring harness is factory or aftermarket.
