Removable Roof Rack for Camper Shell for Install of Thule Hullavator

Question:

Thanks Jameson ... now that I look at it, I think the better solution for me (my need an "aero-style" crossbar for the Thule Hullavator) would be a FIXED bar system. The legs would be permanently bolted on my cap. And of course the Hullavator requires that the bars extend beyond the legs. What would be the rack solution for that? Also, does the stock Hullavator come so that the units are or can be locked onto the bars?

For a roof rack system for a camper shell that is compatible with the Hullavator part # TH898 and can be mostly removed easily the Rhino Rack Aero Bar Roof Rack part # Y02-480B would be your best option. It's a track system with crossbars that would allow you to easily slide the crossbars out when not in use.

For a permanent install rack instead you'd want the Thule CapRac part # TH29200XT which has channels on top of the bars for the Hullavator # TH898 as well. The Hullavator does not come with lock cores so you'd also need the part # TH450200.
