Will Roadmaster High-Low Adapter # RM-070 Work with Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar and Tow Defender
Question:
Will this RM-070 4 inch receiver be strong enough with only 100 lb rating TW to accomodate the following: Roadmaster Tow Defender cover mounted on it as well as the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain town bar. I only needa 4 inch but dont want to double the spending for a 10,000 lb, 400 TW rated Roadmaster reciever. Will the RM-070 receiver handle the above accessories or will they put too much tonque weight on the 100 lb rated RM-070? Thanks for the info. I will wait to hear from you before ordering.

The Roadmaster High-Low Adapter, part # RM-070, is designed for use with a tow bar only. It will work with the Roadmaster Falcon All-Terrain Tow Bar, part # RM-522, you have referenced.
This adapter is meant to be used when towing a rolling load on four wheels so it will not encounter any tongue weight or downward force of over 100 lbs. The tongue weight you will have on the adapter when towing a vehicle with the four wheels down will mainly be the weight of the stinger that is inserted into the adapter.
The additional weight of 15 lbs for the Roadmaster Tow Defender, part # RM-4700, being added to your tow bar will not be a problem.
