Recommended Weight Distribution Shank With 9" Drop For 2-1/2" Receiver On 2017 Ford F-250
Question:
It doesnt mention it specifically and the lack of a sizable gusset makes me wonder. Are shanks normally rated as supporting weight distribution or not? I have a Husky weight distribution hitch head assembly that I need a new shank for.

I have another option, but after speaking with my contact at Fastway the Flash Solid Steel HD Adjustable 2-Ball Mount - 2.5" Hitch - 10" Drop, 9" Rise - 20K # FA49-00-5925 was not designed for use with a weight distribution system and as such I do not recommend doing so.
For a weight distribution shank that has roughly the same drop and rise that will work with the 2-1/2" trailer hitch receiver on your 2017 Ford F-250 I recommend the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank - 12" Long - 13" Rise, 9" Drop # EQ94FR which is has a maximum towing capacity of 16000lbs and a maximum tongue weight rating of 1600lbs.
Weight distribution shanks are universal so you will be able to use this with your Husky weight distribution system.
I included a video of the # EQ94FR for you to take a look at.
