Class S Compatible Snow Tire Chain Cables For 275/80R22.5 Tires
Question:
I have a 2021 Dynamax Dx3 RV on a Freightliner M2 106 chassis. I need snow chains for a trip to Colorado March 5. The drivers side has 2 clearance on the front and rear of the tire. On the passenger side the clearance is 3 in front of the wheel well but just over 1 of clearance behind it. So I think I need Class S. My usage will be very infrequent and casual. It is unclear to me exactly which chains would meet my criteria. My tires are 275/80R22.5, dual drive wheels. I think cable chains could also work. Maybe something like the Cable Chains on Bus Tire? Can you help me figure out what is best?

We do have one option for you that will work; they are Class-S compatible snow tire chain cables that will fit your 275/80R22.5 tires and will be a really nice option for infrequent use only when needed:
- Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC2045
These chains - and in fact all Class-S chains - will work so long as you have at least 1.46" of clearance from the top of the tire tread to your wheel well, so you will want to ensure you have that much space, as you did mention you had just over an inch behind it. The only other thing I recommend are adjusters to ensure the tightest fit, the Titan Chain Link and Spring Tire Chain Adjusters # TCSA2.
I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well of the Titan Chain Cable Snow Tire Chains # TC2045.
