Question:
I want to purchase the Curt 45901 and I would like to put put a Curt rocker ball on but am unsure of the size, I have a 2 inch coupler and roughly towing 3500 to 4000 pounds

Expert Reply:
Since your trailer has a 2" coupler you will need to use the Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing 2" Hitch Ball - 1" Diameter Shank - Chrome - 7.5K # C40047.
The # C40047 will work perfectly on the Curt Channel Style Adjustable Ballmount - 5-1/4" Rise, 6-3/4" Drop - 6,000 lbs # C45901. While the # C40047 has a 7500lb towing capacity, since the # C45901 has a maximum towing capacity of 6000lbs you will be limited to 6000lbs which is plenty since you are only planning on towing 3500-4000lbs.
I included videos for both of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
