Tow Bar with Easier to Release Arms Than Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain

Question:

I have a Roadmaster Falcon all terrain towbar. Although it is said to be easy to release on uneven ground not perfectly aligned with the motor home, I have trouble not being able to pull the release latch. In this case, can I use a tool of some sort for added leverage without damaging the mechanism? Thanks for your advice.

I would be careful using addition leverage to pry up on the release lever of the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain # RM-522. If the arms are bound up that much that you need that much leverage you might end up damaging the mechanism before it would release.

The lever of the Roadmaster Nighthawk part # RM-676 is longer and more heavy duty if you were on any level considering a new tow bar that might function easier.
