What is the Rise on the Maxx Tow Multi-Use Ball Mount # MT70066
Question:
What is the distance between the top of the hitch to the center pin hole of the top receiver. In other words if you were to align the hitch pin hole up with the back hole how far apart would they be from center hole to center hole. I am trying to determine how high the auxiliary receiver is from the main tube. What I am trying to accomplish is high. I wont be towing with the bottom tube, only hauling my cargo tray on the top one, is there a part that is sold that only does this. No need to tow, only needing additional cargo space which weighs about 200lbs.

I went out to the warehouse and pulled a MaxxTow Ball Mount, # MT70066, to take the measurement for you. From the center of the hitch pin hole on the shank up to the center of the pin hole on the receiver portion is 6 inches. I made a video for you also.
A ball mount or adapter that raises the receiver and that you can use for a cargo carrier is not available. You would need to use a ball mount like the Maxx Tow to achieve additional height.
