I have a solution for you, and the issue you'll encounter when you start using hitch extensions is that the further the weight gets away from the hitch, it reduces the tongue weight of the hitch by 50% or more. For that reason I don't recommend using any type of supplemental extension that the ball mount would then fit into.

I recommend simply using a ball mount that is a bit longer than normal like the Brophy Ball Mount for 2" Hitch - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 13-1/4" Long - 10,000 lbs # BH20, which has a 2" drop and adds roughly 9" compared to a standard ball mount. If you need an adjustable ball mount then I recommend using the Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches # D900, which extends 15-1/4" from center of pin hole to center of ball. This ball mount also comes with 1-7/8", 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls and can give you up to a 6" drop to keep your trailer level during towing.

I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to check out, but if you know what specific drop/rise you need to tow your trailer level and how much you need to extend the ball mount, just let me know and I can see if there is a ball mount that would work for that application.
