Brake Controller For A 2015 Porsche Macan

Need to talk to someone re: 2015 Porsche macan. Need good controller. Have single axle 3500 lb camper. Towed behind it. Thanks

to add a brake controller to your 2015 Porsche Macan, if you do not have them already, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Item # C13136 and the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness Item # 119250KIT. This wiring harness does not require splicing into factory wiring. I have include a link to a video on a 2017 Porsche Cayenne to give you an idea of how it installs. The color of the wires and routing it may be a little different for your vehicle.

In order to use a brake controller it requires a 7 pole plug. With out having to run a bunch of extra wires in side the vehicle and drill holes in your dash I recommend the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Item # ETBC7L. This kit provides the 7 pole plug however it only requires you plug your existing 4 pole into it, run a power wire to the battery and ground the white wire. This kit would be used for a wireless controller like the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller Item # C51180.

This brake controller allows you to use your cell phone as the controller. You simply plug the controller into the 7 pole connector, connect your 7 pole wiring from the trailer to the other end, down load the app and your set. When not in use it is small enough can be stored in a glove box.
