Is Gen-Y Cushioned Pin Box GY66FR Current Version
Question:
I have read reports and seen pictures of GEN Y pinboxes that have damaged the sidewalls of truck beds. Apparently GEN Y has re-designed shortened the pinboxes. Are you aware of this issue? Are your in-stock pinboxes the newer versions?

The Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY66FR is the current version. We didn't have any issues with the truck beds I can assure you it is the current version.
