Best Electric Bike Rack for 2020 Ford F-150

Question:

I drive a 2020 Ford F150 and have 2 ebikes Rad City. 64lbs each / Tires 26x2.3 / wheel base 43 / frame 18.5. I came across your S64678 and was wondering if I should consider something else? Ive been waiting for the Hollywood HR1500 but out of stock.

The Swagman Current Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # S64678 is a great bike rack, but I have another recommendation.

I believe the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR is a better fit for you. It is similar to the Swagman Current, but has a bigger weight capacity of 70 lbs while the Current is 60 lbs per bike. It is also designed to be an extremely heavy duty bike rack and handle extra road stress and bounce which you might have with your truck. The downside of that sturdiness is that it can't tilt away. You would have to dismount your bikes first if you want to lower your tailgate.

If you really want that tilt-away feature, then the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR that you were considering has that and the needed weight capacity for your e-bikes. For trucks though, I found that the tilt-away feature is not as important compared to if it were mounted on an SUV where you need to quickly access your hatch. For your 2020 Ford F-150, the Swagman E-Spec is my best recommendation.
