Recommended 4 and 7-Way Trailer Connector with Mount for a 2006 Ford Explorer

Question:

Hi! I got a Hopkins vehicle side connector that has a 4 flat and a 7 round as part of the same assembly. It was great until I backed into something. The 4 flat ground broke off as did all the mounting screws. Now what? I’d like to do something not extreme but I need a 7 round and a 4 flat because I use them both. You only seem to have one thing that has both and I don’t see how it can easily hook up to what I have. Any ideas?

The 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket part # HM40975 is my recommendation for a replacement 4 and 7-way trailer connector for a 2006 Ford Explorer. It will use the US Car plug that comes standard on this vehicle. If you need help with mounting, the No-Drill Bracket part # C57202 can be used to secure it to the trailer hitch.
