Using a Y Pipe to Connect Two Water Tanks for Easier Draining

Question:

I am looking for a solution on the best way to handle the dumping of 2 gray water tanks on RVs that have a rear kitchen. I would like to somehow connect these tanks so that they can both be dumped using one hose at the same time. This would speed up the time to dump. It would make this more efficient and would benefit those campers waiting on you. We are looking for a new camper and like some with rear kitchens but dont like the hassle of using multiple hoses and moving the camper to align to the dump pit.

Valterra # D50-2822 is a good option to consider. This is a Y fitting and can be used to run your lines together. It is likely you are going to need extra parts to get this installed. The gray water lines can vary in size, you need to measure the opening of the lines to get the size of the pipe. Once you measure if this part doesn't work you can email me back and I can help you find the correct part for your application.
