Recommended Roof Rack For 2010 Chevrolet Equinox To Carry 3 Kayaks With Thule The Stacker

Will the Thule Stacker fit 3 kayaks on a 2010 Equinox with a factory roof rack or will it need extended cross bars?

To fit 3 kayaks on the roof of your 2010 Chevrolet Equinox with the Thule The Stacker - Rooftop Multi-Kayak Carrier # TH830 you would more than likely need to use extended crossbars depending on the exact dimensions of your 3 kayaks.
I recommend the Malone AirFlow2 Roof Rack # MPG216 which measures 58" long and will give you the additional room needed to make sure your kayaks will fit on your roof. You will also need two of the Thule Quick Draw Tie-Down Ropes w/ Ratchets and Strap Loops # TH855XT as the # TH830 only includes straps and tie downs for one kayak.
If your kayaks are over 10' long you will need to use the Thule Hull-A-Port XT Kayak Carrier w/ Tie-Downs # TH834 instead.
