Who makes an adapter to allow me to reuse my 20K reese fifth wheel hitch with the GM pucks in my 2008 silverado 3500 8 bed

According to everything I'm seeing, the 2008 Chevy Silverado 3500 did not come with factory pucks, so this is most likely going to be an aftermarket type puck kit. If the pucks have a gooseneck installed and are installed in the same manner as the 2016-2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 with OEM Prep Package then you can use the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 8' Bed - 21K # DM6206. You would want to confirm that this kit was installed with the same spacing as those years OEM prep packages.

If your spacing was done to match the 2020-2021 OEM Prep Package then you'll need the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Chevy/GMC OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package - 21K # DM6333.

Either one of these adapters will allow you to mount a 5th wheel hitch that mounts to industry standard base rails, like your Reese 20k.
