Receiver Reducer Will Not Fit Draw-Tite Hitch
Question:
I bought a trailer reducer from you on 1/5/21 along with a Draw Tite hitch. The hitch went on perfectly and I am very happy. But the reducer wont fit in the hitch - its too long to align the pin holes. Is there a different product or am I going to have to find someone to cut it?

I see that you ordered Draw-Tite # 75758 and Hitch Adapter # 80300. I confirmed with the manufacturer that these will work well together and should not have any fitment issues. It is possible that there is a small flaw in the welding of the receiver or adapter that could be causing the adapter to not slide into the receiver all the way. I would shine a flashlight into the receiver and see if there is piece of metal in the way causing interference that could possibly be filed down. If not, then try using a bit of force to slide the adapter in. If you still have no luck, then you may need to send us a few photos and we can determine if there is a flaw in the design that is preventing you from using them together.
