How to Carry a Bike Rack When Towing a Trailer

Question:

I have a 2021 Ram 1500 DT Sport that has a class 4 hitch. I am looking to tow a travel trailer that has a GVWR of 3500lbs to 4000lbs and hoping to add a bike rack that would total about 140lbs. what type of hitch adapter would you recommend to accommodate a bike rack and be able to tow the travel trailer?

We have the Curt Dual Hitch adapter part # D210 which gives you a higher hitch opening for a bike rack to fit into and a lower ball mount platform and has a 7,500 lb towing capacity.

Another option is the bike rack bunk adapter # CC-275 which attaches to the frame channels of the trailer and gives a higher hitch opening above the propane tanks for a bike rack to fit.

We also have the Jack-It bike rack adapt part # LC429756 which would fit under the mount for your a-frame jack.
