Do I Need To Connect The Tokonsha Trailer Wiring Harness To The Fuse Wire On My 2021 Mazda CX-5?

Question:

2021 Mazda CX-5 Tekonsha 118746. The CX-5 owners manual shows a 15A, trailer fuse, in the passenger compartment #5 ESCL. How would I connect the 118746 to this fuse? If the factory runs a wire to the back of the CX-5, how would I identify it color/stripe, location? Thanks,

When installing the Tekonsha # 118746 on your 2021 Mazda CX-5 you take the harness and plug it into your factory towing harness already on your CX-5 and that will already have the connection made to the 15A trailer fuse. There is no need to identify the fuse wire. The kit does come with everything you need to install and I've included Ryan's install video to help guide you through the install!
