Can The Pace Edwards JackRabbit Tonneau Cover For 2020 Ram 2500 Lock At Any Position?

Question:

So I know the cover will lock at 12” intervals when closing. My question is, will it lock without fully opening it first? So if I activate the retraction while holding the pull strap, can I stop it at say 2-3 ft from the tailgate, then pull it toward the tailgate and expect that it will hit a “locking point” before totally closing? Also, your info seems to intimate that with the key, one could even stop between those built in locking points, and lock the cover in place. Is that correct?

I spoke with my contact at Pace Edwards and can confirm that the Pace Edwards JackRabbit # 311-JRD7833 is able to be latched when opening and closing. It is also able to be locked with the key at any position that it is latched. You cannot lock it in between the 12" latching intervals.

This is an excellent product and offers for an easy installation. No drilling is required. This cover also has a built-in water management system, which channels the excess water into a drain tube that runs under your truck. This will prevent your belongings from getting wet and also reduces the risk of water freezing in your rails in the winter months.
