Rear View Camera For 2015 Nissan Xterra Pulling A Rockwood Pop Up Camper
Question:
Hi I have a Rockwood pop up camper which I am towing with a 2015 Xterra. My camper has and off road suspension so it site higher than most and I cant see over it while driving. Other then extended side mirrors I was looking to see if their is a viewing camera like device that could displace to my iPhone objects behind my trailer while driving. Would need to work at night, be water resistant. Does not need recording capability just live real time display capabilities. My truck does have a back up camera but that is only helpful for connecting to the hitch. It could also be mounted on the top back of my truck so blue tooth collection would likely work OK? Thanks

For your 2015 Nissan Xterra pulling a Rockwood pop Up Camper, I recommend the VueSMART RV and Trailer Backup Camera Item # HM34FR. Since you are wanting it to work with your cell phone, you are going to be limited on what cameras are available. With the VueSmart, it is a universal mount so it can be mounted on the back of the trailer and it only requires a connection to an existing running light signal so it is easy to install and set up. It is also water proof, has night vision and 150 degree viewing angle.
