Recommended 7 Drop Shank For Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System
Question:
Shank ? Im looking at Item # FA92-00-0800 for my WDH. Estimated tongue weight of 500-600 lbs. On my Armada, my hitch height is 23.75 at top of receiver. I think my coupler height is 16.5 at bottom of coupler. The trailer MFG tells me the ball height at top of ball should be 19 to be level for towing. So I backed out 2.5 for the ball ?. That indicates to me that I need a shank with . Can you help direct me? I want the most ground clearance, but the proper . Im going to pick up the trailer 2.5 hours away. So I want to be prepared to safely tow it home.

Based on the measurements you provided, you will need just a little over a 7" drop shank for the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-0800 to make sure your new trailer is level when being towed with your Nissan Armada.
I recommend the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Shank # FA92-02-4315 as it has a maximum drop of 9-3/4" when used with a trunnion system like the # FA92-00-0800 which will make it the best option for ground clearance and still able to level your trailer.
Since the # FA92-00-0800 does not include a hitch ball, you will either need 2-5/16" hitch ball # EQ91-00-6100, or 2" hitch ball # EQ91-00-6080 depending on the coupler of your trailer. The trailer manufacturer will be able to tell you which hitch ball is correct for your trailer.
I also recommend the 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to make tightening the hitch ball nut a breeze.
I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
