Replacement Brake Controller for 1998 Chevrolet 1-Ton Pickup Truck
Question:
I have a 98 1 ton Chevy and it currently has some old Brake-Force time delay brake controller in it I would like to upgrade to a proportional controller what will I need to change will it just be a different connector to the controller?

Upgrading to a proportional brake controller will give you significantly better brake control of your trailer. The Tekonsha # TK90160 Primus IQ controller will replace your old controller and connect using the same wires. This should be an easy swap.
