Recommended Hydraulic Brake Assembly for Trailer with 5 Bolt Mounting Flange and 15" Wheels  

Question:

I need help finding a set of trailer brakes for a trailer rebuild i am working on. Im not sure of the exact size of the brakes. I know the wheel is a 6 lug 15 inch brakes are 5 bolt pattern and hydraulic. Any help you could give me is very appreciated.

Because you have a 5 bolt brake mounting flange on the axle, you will most likely have a 12" brake assembly on there. For an axle with a capacity of 5000-lbs to 7000-lbs I recommend using the Hydraulic Brake Kit - Uni-Servo - Free Backing # AKFBBRK-7. These will give you a reliable, free-backing 12" brake assembly that will work well and will be appropriately sized based off the information you've mentioned. These brakes do not come with mounting hardware so you will also need # BRKH12 to mount these brakes.

I've linked a review video of these brakes for you to check out, but I do recommend confirming the capacity of your axle.
