Is It Ok To Use Loctite On Bolts When Installing A Receiver Hitch?

Question:

I am preparing to install one of your hitches on a Mazda CX-5. Is using lock tight or other thread adhesive ok to use on the connection bolts?

Using Loctite when installing a hitch is not required if the receiver hitch hardware is torqued down to specifications.

However, using Loctite certainly wouldn't hurt. You could use the Loctite Threadlocker 243 # LT1330799 which would still allow you to remove the bolts with hand tools.
