Where Does T-One Wiring Harness Mount on 2017 Toyota RAV4

Question:

I have a 2017 RAV4 Hybrid and installing part 118578. I also purchased the mounting bracket to attach to the hitch itself. Do you have any instructions on how to pass the connection wire from inside the vehicle to the outside for a more permanent install and not just in the spare tire wheel well? I am sure there has to be somewhere to pass the wires through. Please help. Thanks

The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118578 is designed to mount inside your 2017 Toyota RAV4's hatch, it will not mount to the outside. There is one grommet under the carpet where the spare tire is that allows you to connect the power wire to the module, but there is nothing that allows you to mount the 4-way anywhere outside your RAV4.
