Availability Of Replacement Hardware For Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver 14055 On 2002 Ford Van
Question:
I stupidly stripped the threads of the nuts for my 14055 hitch. Where can I find replacements and what size are they? Will the serrated flange nuts work? Or regular nuts with washer? Lock washer? Thanks.

I'm sorry to hear that the nuts to install your Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 14055 on your 2002 Ford Van stripped.
For replacement hardware you will need the replacement hardware kit # RHK and select Curt from the drop down menu, and for model enter 14055. This is the only option to get the correct replacement nuts as we do not sell the required 1/2-13 grade 8 nuts with serrated flange separately.
