To install a 7 way connector on your 2011 Honda Pilot I recommend going with the Tekonsha # 118253, which is the one you were looking at. This kit comes with all of the relays and parts needed to install to activate your factory towing package and will allow you to tow a trailer with brakes.
For a brake controller I recommend using the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # 90195, which will provide you with smooth proportional braking for your horse trailer and is one of our most popular brake controllers. If you've got the factory plug for a brake controller under the dash board you can use the # 3070-P adapter to make the installation plug and play; if for some reason that plug is not present then you will need to hard wire the controller into the vehicle.
I've linked some review and installation videos of these parts for you to have a look at.
