Recommended Trailer Hubs and Wheels for Axle with 25580 Inner and LM67048 Outer Bearing
Question:
I have an older trailer with split rims. I would like to replace the hubs and tires. The inner bearing is 25580 and the outer is LM67048 What options would you suggest?

I recommend starting with the Dexter # 8-213-5UC1 (hubs) or the # 8-201-5UC3 (hub and drum) that use the # 25580 inner bearing and # LM67048 outer bearing; these hubs both have a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern, and come pre-greased so they're ready to install. If you're using the # 8-201-5UC3 you can add brakes using 12" brakes like the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA. You'll want to make sure your axles have a 5 bolt mounting flange for these brakes and they do not come with brake mounting hardware included, so you may also need the # BRKH12.
Since you're also replacing the wheels and tires, I recommend using something like the Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Tire with 15" White Spoke Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2" - Load Range E # AM32680, which match the bolt pattern on the hubs and have a durable Load Range E tire with a 2830-lbs per tire capacity.
I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to check out.
